NHT Vice President, Scott Kline Stepping Down, Summer 2019

Dear NHT Friends and Partners:

I am writing to share that Scott Kline has decided to pursue a new chapter in his career and has resigned from National Housing Trust as of August 1, 2019.   We will miss Scott deeply.  He has been a kind and thoughtful colleague, mentor and friend and was instrumental in building National Housing Trust to the organization it is today. 

Scott joined NHT in 1996 and launched our real estate development business, NHT Communities (formerly known as NHT-Enterprise) in 1999.  Since its creation, NHT Communities has preserved more than 8,000 affordable homes and recently surpassed $1 billion in real estate financing. Today, NHT Communities’ portfolio consists of more than 4,700 units in 35 properties across 13 states and Washington, D.C.  Scott was also critical in the creation of NHT’s energy business.
