Phoenix House Completes $10.5 Million Redevelopment

On February 16, NHT-Enterprise, along with development partners Tapestry Development and 3Keys, celebrated the completion of renovations on the 69-unit Phoenix House Apartments in Atlanta, GA. NHT-Enterprise acquired Phoenix House in late 2016, along with partners Tapestry and 3Keys, and began the redevelopment shortly thereafter.

The redevelopment of the community included substantial renovation of one residential building and two community buildings as well as the demolition and new construction of two buildings. All the units are new, energy efficient, and will be occupied by residents earning no more than 60% of the area median income.
In addition to its affordability, Phoenix House provides supportive services for its residents, many of whom are adults facing mental illness and homelessness, through partner Community Friendship.
