Lending Initiatives Manager

Amy Lieber joined the National Housing Trust in 2023 as Lending Initiatives Manager. She is responsible for the Rental Emergency Lifeline/ Eviction Fund (RELiEF) program, working with the Connecting Capital and Communities Initiative and Small Buildings Collaborative, as well as supporting the TOPA Earnest Money Deposit Loan Program. In this role, Amy supports the programmatic side of NHT’s Lending team to deepen its impact on small building preservation and enhance equitable access to capital.

Before joining NHT, Amy was a fellow supporting place-based work for Enterprise Community Partner’s Mid-Atlantic team. Prior to this fellowship, Amy worked at Jews United for Justice as a community organizer and assistant to advance social, racial, and economic justice in Washington, DC.

Amy holds her B.A. in Political Science from Vassar College, and M.P.P. from Georgetown’s McCourt School of Public Policy.
