Fatoumata Diabate joined NHT in 2024 as the Senior Director of Human Resources, driven by her passion for fostering a work environment where everyone can thrive and contribute their best work. With over thirteen years of experience, she oversees all areas of HR including employee relations, talent acquisition, development, retention, compensation and benefits, engagement strategy, performance management, and learning and development.

Her journey in HR leadership began with a commitment to inclusive strategies that attract and retain top talent. She speaks four languages including French, allowing Fatoumata to excel in fostering communication across diverse teams and cultures, and enriching organizational dynamics.

Previously, at the American Academy of Actuaries, Fatoumata served as the Director of Human Resources & Office Operations, where she spearheaded initiatives to enhance engagement and inclusivity in collaboration with leadership. Earlier roles included pivotal contributions as HR lead at Community Home Health & Hospice, where she drove strategic planning and spearheaded talent acquisition efforts.

Fatoumata holds an MBA in Human Resources from National University and is certified as a Senior Professional in Human Resources (SPHR), a testament to her commitment to professional excellence.

Beyond work, Fatoumata enjoys quality time with her family and actively participates in community events and activities, including serving on a DCSHRM committee.
