A dedicated professional hailing from the vibrant streets of the Bronx, Malika James-Vassell joined National Housing Trust in October 2023 as a staff accountant. She brings a wealth of knowledge and experience to NHT. 

Malika has demonstrated a strong commitment to the field, with experience at American Clean Power Association, where she honed her financial skills while making a positive impact on the community. She has also gained some audit experience from her time at Ernst and Young (EY). Her passion for numbers, coupled with her commitment to social responsibility, is a testament to her well-rounded character and her potential to make a difference in the financial world and beyond.

Malika received a bachelor’s degree in accounting from SUNY Plattsburgh.
