Maree joined the National Housing Trust in July 2019 as the part-time Resident Service Coordinator. She engages residents on a regular basis and assists them with all facets of life, including financial literacy, professional development and individual case management. Prior to joining NHT, Maree was a consultant through WorkFirst University, an initiative funded by the D.C. Office of Employment Services, which targeted which targeted youth professional development and engagement. Maree also has over 10 years of professional work experience managing a multitude of programming ranging from; youth in government, college and career readiness programs, youth and adult sport leagues, and gang prevention and mentoring programs with the YMCA. Maree was an outstanding student-athlete and professional basketball player in Portugal, Austria, and Romania from 2006-2009.
