Recommendations for Implementing the District’s Building Energy Performance Standard in Affordable Multifamily Housing

NHT and HAND convened D.C. affordable housing advocates, developers, and owners to discuss how to implement the District’s new Building Energy Performance Standards (BEPS) in affordable housing. The attached report provides an overview of recommendations to the Department of Energy and Environment (DOEE) in its implementation of BEPS as it pertains to multifamily affordable housing developers and owners in the District.
